July's Quick Rundown

July came and went so fast that it is almost a blur.
A few highlights were of course, Anne's birthday and then 2 weeks later Victoria's birthday.
Aunt Sherstine's birthday is the same day as Anne's, so this year we spent the day together. We took the family out to Lake Lowell where Wayne rented a boat for the day. The kids had a blast with all their cousins. The clouds turned dark and stormy, so we had to call it a day a little early, but all in all it was a lot of fun.

One thing Anne wanted for her birthday was breakfast in bed. I asked her what type of breakfast  she would like and it was Honey Buzzers. Done! Talk about simple

Victoria celebrated her 8th birthday this year and got a big friend party. She decided that she wanted to have her party in Utah with her friends there before we moved, so that is what we did. (I'll do a separate post for her party) On her birthday, we went and got pedicures and the I took her to Toys R Us to use a gift card she got. It was great having that one on one time with her. That night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Mortensen's house for dinner, cake, and swimming. It was a quiet day, but she loved that she got to celebrate her birthday twice and was looking forward to the next month for her baptism.

My Uncle Kent comes into town for a visit every year. He flies a little 4 person plane so when he comes he takes groups out. This year he invited Robert and I to go with him we had an extra seat so we invited Robert's sister Kara to come with us. He flew us up to McCall and back. Idaho is so pretty! I loved seeing it from up high.

I'm sure there was so much more to July that I am missing, but that is all I can recall at the moment.
